It’s time to deck the halls … literally!
Join me, 17 local artists, Young Variety members, Kansas City’s Vocalocity, Shawnee Mission East Lancer Dancers, Shawnee Mission East drum-line, Miss Ella, and of course, Santa in the first annual Hooray for Holidays at Mission Farms.

Seventeen local artistis, including my mother, Nancy McCarthy, will donate their works to benefit Variety. This is "Partridge in a Pear Tree," 3 x 4 on canvas. Gorgeous!
Come have a drink with Young Variety of Greater Kansas City at blank burgers+bottles at 5 p.m. Blanc has been kind enough to offer $3 Boulevards and small plate appetizer specials to all Young Variety supporters.
After a beverage and burger, Santa and myself will be presenting the adorable and fabulous Miss Ella with a brand new adaptive bike as a part of Variety Children’s Charity’s mission: to assist our children of Kansas City who have physical or mental disabilities and provide them with the most essential need — mobility.
In addition, the generous and talented local artists will have their masterpieces unveiled in Mission Farms’ store windows, each of which will be auctioned off at a later date to raise funds for the Variety mission. (My mother, Nancy McCarthy is one of those talented artists!)
And at the end, Ella will help Santa and I flip the switch on the Mission Farms Christmas Tree to kick off this holiday season!
