As much as I would like to find a shiny new car adorned with a red bow just like the commercials (which really, does that ever happen?), I’d settle for some simple additions to my car.
- 1. Heated blanket. I really hate being cold and really love blankets that plug in.
- 2. Remote start. It’s my fantasy to walk out of my house with diaper bag, pump, cooler, purse and car seat with baby in tow and have the car already warm.
- 3. Car trash can. Biggest pet peeve? The hubs leaving smelly banana peels in my car. This would solve that problem along with the old “whoops I forgot a bag for this dirty diaper” predicament.
- 4. Coffee Cup Power Inverter. Get AC power that fits right in your car cup holder. Genius.
- 5. Baby Mirror. It’s not like I need a mirror to see that Henry is sick of being in the car, but sometimes it helps to know that he’s OK.
I’d also like a snow plow that at a push of a button would clear a path for me, a coffee dispensing machine in my dashboard and a third arm that could always be holding a pacifier in Henry’s mouth. I’m guessing you don’t make those in your North Pole workshop though, huh?

In her non-existent free time, she’s running, eating popcorn and blogging about it all at The Gatsby Diaries.
