Resolutions for your car…

Someone tried to ruin my pic!!!

I’ve vowed to lose 10 pounds, cook more, work out daily, worry less, smile often, save money. Sound familiar? This list is pretty standard every year around this time. Whether it lasts the whole year, six months, or til the end of the day, it’s the thought that counts, right? HA! But if you really mean it, start small. Think of simple ways to improve your everyday life. For those of us who spend many hours stuck in our cars, here’s a quick reminder of things to do and not do this year:
  • Be nice, people! You may call it assertive driving, but the police call it road rage.
  • Keep a full gas tank — moisture may get inside the fuel lines and cause performance issues.
  • Combine your trips. Hit the grocery store, the gym, and the kids’ school during the same trip in order to save on gas and reduce emissions.
  • Speaking of gas, stop wasting it! We’re not gonna get there any faster by flooring it at the green light.
  • ALWAYS wear your seatbelt.
  • Stop texting (or fill in the blank with your vice) and driving!
  • Outfit yourself with great music for long drives, but stop messing with the buttons while you’re changing lanes and drinking a soda. It can wait. Really.
  • Keep your tires inflated for safe contact on the road.
  • Check up on the back windshield wipers; they’re often overlooked!
  • Don’t forget about those oil changes.
  • You already look gorgeous, darling! Step away from the mascara.

Let’s face it. We’re all human, and there are just some habits that aren’t going to change. But some are worth working for! What are YOUR car-related goals this year?

Having a problem with the oil, It pours out of the engine 😛 I don’t know what happened but the warning lights ( on my dash ) went off and the warning beeping, so I did the smart thing and pulled over. Wish me luck, with 3 kids and no car, I need it!
