So, ladies and gentlemen … what is the craziest thing you’ve done or seen someone do while driving? Don’t be shy. I won’t tell!
I’m sure many of us have seen some crazy things; texting, eating, reading. I’ve seen my fair share of dogs driving … you know, those little “purse” doggies sitting on their drivers laps.
Well here’s my story. After finishing a college basketball game, I was in a hurry. I needed to be dressed to impress at a party across town. I hopped in my car with my girlfriend … we were on our way to celebrate our win! It was a mess, clothes flying everywhere. But, I had managed to change an entire outfit before we showed up (on time). I felt like a champ. Now, I definitely DO NOT recommend this to anyone!
So, I told you mine. Now, tell me yours.
What is something you’ve done while driving, that you probably shouldn’t have? Oh, and what’s the craziest thing you’ve seen someone else do while driving? I promise – I won’t get you in trouble!

I’ve never really done anything TOO crazy like some people out there. I mean sure, I’m guilty of the occasional texting while driving. But that’s about as far as it goes for me.
Although, I once pulled up next to a woman, while we were driving on the interstate I might add, and she was reading a newspaper! I mean seriously.. wtf?! It’s not like the news on the paper will change if you read it later.
As far as being banned, I’m pretty neutral. I know it’s a stupid idea to text and drive, but I do it anyways.. I know in some states its already banned, like California. And I know its perfectly legal in other states like Kansas.
I’m guilty of it too … the ‘texting’ part, not the ‘reading a newspaper’ part!
Thanks for your comment … I think it’s stupid to do anything distracting while driving … too much to risk.
OK, I’ll admit I have done some stupid things while driving like texting or applying makeup but the one thing I have no excuse for is I have actually watched a movie on my laptop while driving. I have 2 preschoolers and taking trips with them is a nightmare but when Mommy puts in a movie they usually quit fighting. LOL!! My car isn’t equipped with a built-in DVD player so I bring my laptop with us on trips. I have to admit I find myself paying more attention to the movie sometimes than the road. Not good!!
Wow! Movie!-Really? LOL!
Well, next time you’re out on the road, let me know! 🙂
I’ve heard the DVD players are a life savor for parents!
We have many customers buy them aftermarket from us … for that very reason!!!
Great Idea!
However, I’m not sure they were made for the actual driver! 🙂
