Taking a step back to move forward

My first car, a white Mitsubishi Montero Sport. I was 16 and had the world at my fingertips.

Owning a car is a special thing.

I don’t know about you guys, but my cars have always been an extension of myself. I’ve had so many different memories created in my cars — belting along with the radio, cruising down the highway on road trips, or simply getting behind the wheel after a long work day… My cars have always been somewhat of a sanctuary.

When this whole “Lauren Wants to Know” idea began, I had a mission: I wanted women to know their stuff when it came to buying a car, and I wanted to help enlighten them! I stand by that today: Car shopping should be an enjoyable task because you’re purchasing future memories.

So this post serves as a reminder: Ladies (and gentlemen!), I’m here for you and all of your car questions. I’m going to be a bit more scheduled with my up-and-coming posts, posting how-to’s, tips/tricks, automotive news, and event previews/recaps on a regular basis. I’ll research everything from the nitty-gritty details about car tires to what exactly happens when you buy a car, and simplify the facts so you know exactly what’s going on when it comes to your vehicle.

I’m here for you — all you have to do is ask!

Also, connect with me! (I’m all over the Internet!)
