The all-new 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe … WOW! I’ve never been a fan of fast cars or been much of a sports car girl…but talk about power! This little ride has some speed, and standing at 6 feet tall, even I can feel the jolt!
I was told the power behind the jolt comes from the Genesis’ use of rear-wheel drive. I’d like to tell you I knew that, but the fact of the matter is I didn’t! Boy, what you learn being able to test-drive so many vehicles.
With the pearl white paint and gray leather interior, I have received more than my fair share of “look backs” from the opposite sex. I’m not complaining. What a magnet!
What are you driving? Does it have the power and style you love?

How does the Genesis Coupe compare to Chevy’s sports cars?
To be honest, you cannot compare the two. The Hyundai Genesis Coupe is a refined sports coupe, much in the tradition of European Sports Coupes. Whereas, the Chevy Corvette is the “American Sportscar”- no comparison to the Hyundai.
On the other hand, the Chevy Camaro would be a more likely comparison than the Vette. However, the Camaro is traditionally compared to the Ford Mustang.
My suggestion: try em out!
I read Car and Driver Magazine…They tested and compared the 2010 V6 Genesis Coupe Track and the 2010 V6 Camaro. In terms of performance, there is only two-tenths of a second difference between the two cars. Both cars have roughly the same gas mileage, too. Car and Driver said the Camaro has better ride quality and better interior quality, but other than those two minor differences, they said there isn’t really any major difference between the two cars.
